You may need to adjust your PRV

After completing our PRV repair we are able to get pressures in the lower areas of Whitewater Springs better regulated. Some areas had pressures exceeding 90 psi which can cause leaks in the system. Pressure has now been set to give the highest point in the lower loop 55 psi.

When your house was originally connected by your plumber they may have installed a PRV valve to reduce system pressure to 50-60 psi for your house. Because the lower loop pressure is now lower than what it was your PRV may be reducing it too much. Typical PRV valves have a bolt on them that allows you to change how much the valve is reducing the pressure. You may need to adjust that bolt to increase the pressure to your house.

This page on our website explains this as well as other parts of your system that can cause low pressure.

If you make adjustments but suspect that system pressure may be too low at your connection call PGMS at (512) 894-3322 and Mark will come out to check it.
