Hello All,
Members will receive an important informational insert with their July 2026 water bill outlining updates to WSWSC’s rate structure. This stuffer explains adjustments to both Base Rates and Usage Rates, which were approved by the Board after reviewing how costs have changed over the past six years. As stated in the notice, these updates ensure WSWSC can continue maintaining our system to the highest standard and support long‑term water availability for the community.
The insert also details a small change to New Meter Fees, where the previous inspection fee has been removed and inspection responsibility now shifts to the applicant.
Members will find:
- The new rate schedule effective with the August bill
- A comparison of previous vs. new monthly bills at common usage levels
- Updated new meter and transfer fees
- Conservation tips, including irrigation reduction and rainwater harvesting
- A summary of ongoing efforts to keep costs down, including leak remediation, SCADA monitoring, and progress on Well #4 financing and development
We encourage all members to review the stuffer carefully when their bill arrives. As always, thank you for your continued conservation efforts and engagement with our community water system.
These new rates will be effective with your August bill.
